This hardy, easy and reliable Salvia has rosettes of large hairy green leaves which in summer give rise to tall, branched spikes of deep purple-blue flowers splashed with white. Will spread and can make good ground cover. Flowers are attractive to pollinating insects.
Prefers a well-drained soil in sun or light shade. The foliage dies back in Autumn and emerges again in Spring.
