Not to be confused with annual geraniums, or pelargoniums, the cranesbill is the true hardy geranium species. Perennial and generally long lived. Not particularly fussy regarding soil type as long as well drained.
'Splish Splash' is one of the prettiest of the Geranium cranesbill's. Masses of large striped blooms, mainly white with splashes of bright purple and lilac, with mounds of divided foliage. Very hardy plant which will produce flowers in late spring and early summer for many years.
