A monstruosa variety of the stunning muscosa. Grows up to 12 inches tall with a spreading habit of branching stems having tightly, overlapping, stacked, narrow, light green leaves. Much like the regular variety, but this one has thicker columns that offset more regularly. You can use this one to fill a space due to its more spreading nature. Can almost be used as a trailing succulent. Looks great as a specimen or planted with other succulents, also looks fantastic in a hanging basket.
Prefers a spot in full sun or part shade in a rockery, garden or conservatory. Will develop small, yellow flowers along the stem from Spring to mid-Summer. Hardy to around -6 but dislikes being cold and wet at the same time.
