Hollyhocks are upright statuesque plants which could be considered an essential to any cottage garden or herbaceous border. Tall strong stems carry funnel shaped blooms, sometimes up to 10 cm across, from June through to September above rough textured, ovate leaves. Ideal for adding colour and depth to the backs of borders, growing in most soils in full sun. Will self-seed if left to sow. Loved by pollinators and also make wonderful cut flower displays, adding height and drama.
Height: 1.5 - 2.5 m Spread: 30 cm
