A beautiful native wildflower and a cousin to the Primrose, Cowslips are a great nectar source for bees and other pollinators early in the year. In April and May fragrant nodding egg yolk yellow blooms on stalks appear above a rosette of bright green leaves. They will naturalise in meadows and woodland and are a must have in wild gardens. Grow in well drained soil in sun or partial shade.
