From a flat fan of tiny iris-like leaves arise thin stems carrying large, brilliant star-shaped flowers. Sometimes known as 'flowering grass', these lovely bulbous flowers are very long lived and hardy in a sheltered spot and in a well-drained rockery they will self-seed and make fabulous drifts. This listing is for a mixed pack of Laxa, Alba and Joan Evans which are also listed separately.
Once established, requires little maintenance apart from flower stems being trimmed back once they have died off at the end of the season. Of no interests to pests. Can be lifted and divided in Spring.
