Tree lupins are fast-growing medium-sized evergreen shrub with palmate grey-green leaves composed of leaflets, silky-hairy beneath and racemes of erect flowers in late Spring and Summer. Ideal for cottage and informal gardens, wildflower meadows, flower borders and beds. This is a mixed set of each colour.
Prefer well-drained, sandy soil; best in full sun but can be grown in partial shade. Likely to need shelter in colder areas with prolonged heavy frost. No pruning generally required and not troubled by pests like standard herbaceous lupins.
All parts, particularly the seeds, may cause severe discomfort if ingested.
