A low growing spreading evergreen perennial, forming rosettes of spoon-shaped, leathery green leaves with coarsely toothed edges. From late spring to summer slender stems of delicate star-shaped flowers boasting five petals in shades of pink or white, often adorned with dark pink spots, emerge up to 30cm high.
Thriving in shade or partial shade they prefer a moist but well drained soil.
