Pretty, violet blue flowers over grassy green leaves in Summer. Easy to grow in a sunny position with reasonable drainage. Will self seed if left to sow. Good in rockeries, gravel beds and borders. A wildflower in much of California - this variety has wider leaves than the Angustifolium which we also have available.
To encourage re-blooming, remove spent flowers and seed pods. Can be propagated by dividing or self-seeding. Not fussy on soil type, prefers some moisture and good drainage, but will tolerate Summer dryness in full sun. Can survive through the UK Winters with some minor leaf damage.
Height: 20 cms Spread: 20 cms over time
