A pretty perennial which adds a bright splash of colour early on in the Summer season and suited to any cottage garden or herbaceous border. Produces deeply coloured red and white blooms on tall stems, sometimes known as 'Dove's at the Fountain' as the dainty flowers nod in the breeze. Good for cut flowers and loved by bees and other pollinators. Pretty pest free and requires very little maintenance, only cutting back of stems in the Autumn as foliage is semi-evergreen. Prefers full sun or partial shade.
