Lychnis Coronaria, commonly known as Rose Campion, flowers between June and August. Soft woolly silver grey leaves and stems with lovely cottage garden magenta coloured blooms. Grows to around 50 - 60 cms high when in flower with a spread of around 20 cms per plant. Prefers dry areas in full sun for best results. Will produce only a few stems during first season but thereafter will thrive in the right conditions.
Can be sown direct to desired location but best started in seed trays during April/May before transplanting during September to flower following year. Not fussy on soil type.
