These are a very robust and hardy perennial that will return year after year. The foliage is ideal for ground cover keeping the weeds at bay and in summer masses of bright star shaped blooms appear at a height of 15 to 20 cm making these ideal for the front of a border. Also makes a good trailing plant over wall edges.
Prefer to be planted in well drained soil and given enough space to encourage larger clumps to develop as they settle in. Can be planted year round or initially potted up for direct planting later.
