This variety of Erysium has vibrant citrus shades of yellow and orange with a beautifully sweet fragrance. A strong branching habit leads to multiple upright flower stalks right through Spring from March to May, adding contrast and interest to pansy, primrose and Spring flowering bulb schemes. Does not require a cold spell to re-bloom so a second flush will appear in the Autumn. A hardy perennial which is usually grown as an annual or biannual.
The tender young shoots can be cooked and eaten as a vegetable. Trim back wallflowers after flowering to prevent them becoming leggy. Ideal for patio, cottage gardens and cut flower gardens. Prefers full sun or semi-shade in free draining soil.
Height/Spread: 30 cms
