A vigorous and easy-going evergreen plant forming a spreading clump of prettily divided foliage, light green with 10 - 15 cm leaves. Clusters of short-spurred, bright yellow flowers, 1.5 cm long, open from April to September. Seeds freely and can be slightly invasive, but easily controlled. Few plants are better for brightening up a damp shady corner and looks superb in shady stone walls.
