The Governor is a spectacular variety of Lupin that produces tall spikes of blue and white pea like flowers in May and June, above fresh green cut leaf foliage. A popular herbaceous perennial garden plant they make a striking addition to borders and are also excellent for cutting.
Grow in moderately fertile, humus-rich, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or light, dappled shade. Harmful if ingested.
