A variety with soft white pincushion flower heads with papery bracts which looks superb among garden borders. Hardy perennial Astrantia 'Alba' forms attractive clumps with long lasting summer blooms, making an interesting cut flower for drying or using in fresh arrangements. Will self seed if left to sow or can be lifted and divided in spring. Prefers a moist but well drained soil in full sun or partial shade. RHS 'perfect for pollinators' status so loved by bees and butterflies.
