A pretty purple and white variety of aquilegia, ideally suited to any cottage garden or herbaceous border. Produces coloured blooms on tall stems, sometimes known as 'Dove's at the Fountain' as the dainty flowers nod in the breeze. Good for cut flowers and loved by bees and other pollinators. Pretty pest free and requires little maintenance, only cutting back stems in the autumn as leaves are semi-evergreen. Prefers full sun or partial shade where it will show up wonderfully. Will self seed freely if left to sow.
Height: 45 - 60 cms Spread: 30 cms
