A classic of the cottage garden, this tall bell flower produces large white or violet-blue cup shaped flowers on tall stems in June and July among toothed, bright green leaves which are retained all year. An ideal plant for the back of a mixed or herbaceous border, especially in partial shade. Earlier flowering than other varieties and provides excellent cut flowers. Dead head to prolong flowering season but will self seed if left to sow. Requires very little maintenance and pretty pest free before needing to be cut right back in the Autumn to allow fresh growth in the Spring.
