A compact fleshy rootstock produces a clump of oval , neatly toothed leaves with heart-shaped bases to 12 cms long. Through these emerge slightly hairy, upright stems bearing smaller, simple oval leaves. From June to August, the upper part of each stem bears a loose cluster of outward-facing, bell-shaped blooms, pure white in this variety.
A lovely, resilient plant for the back of a border, preferably in part shade, or for a wild garden where it can be allowed to seed about.
Height: 90 - 120 cms Spread: 20 cms over time
