A perennial form of the country garden favourite, Everlasting Sweet Pea will climb any adjacent vegetation or structure with its twining tendrils at a rate of 120 - 150 cms per year. In open areas it will even spread along the ground. Beautiful blooms of approx 1 inch across appear between June and September, giving a long flowering season. This variety produces impressive shades of pink blooms in abundance although, unlike the annual varieties, this perennial does not have a fragrance although it is still attractive to butterflies and pollinators. A perfect vining plant for covering up out-buildings or old fences or for adding colour to a foliage hedge.
This is a deciduous climber and will die back completely during the Winter before reappearing the following Spring. Removing spent flowers will prolong the flowering season. Will self seed if left to sow and will also spread by producing rhizomes.
Height/Spread: 1.2 - 1.5 during the season
