One of the many Saxifrage selections, this is a low alpine plant, forming rosettes of evergreen grey-green leaves. Tall, arching sprays of tiny white flowers appear in the summer, planting this at the top of a rock wall will allow the flower sprays to arch over gracefully. Best in a partly shaded rock garden, especially happy when growing in crevices between rocks. Clumps may be divided in early spring. Not soil fussy but does need well draining soil. An easy plant to grow which will spread slowly over time by producing offsets. Requires little maintenance apart from cutting back spent stems at the end of the season. Pests are also not interested in this plant which gives an added bonus!
Height: 18 - 23 cms when in flower Spread 15 - 20 cms over time
