A real talking point these stunning tall green carnivorous plants attract flies with nectar at the top of each pitcher which then fall into a well of digestive fluid that breaks down their prey to be absorbed by the plant. Flower spikes bear unusual nodding yellow blooms. Like all Sarracenias they need to stand in 2.5cm (1") of rain water in acidic nutrient-less soil in full sun for good growth. They are efficient fly and wasp catchers both indoors and out. Keep well hydrated spring to autumn but keep just damp in winter. Needs a cold winter dormancy for plant health. Open pollinated so these seeds will be cross pollinated.
