An unusual upright hardy biannual reputed to deter moles! Growing up to 1.2 mtrs with grey-green foliage it produces umbels of tiny yellow-green flowers from late spring into summer followed by large segmented seed pods. Euphorbia lathyris will tolerate most soils and situations but prefers sun and a free draining soil.
Will self seed readily. All parts of the plant are harmful if eaten and care should be taken when handling as the sap may cause skin irritation.
