Begonia soli-mutata is an evergreen creeping plant with textured heart shaped leaves that are dark green with radiating lime green veins. The leaves become darker the more light it is exposed to hence the name 'Sun changing'. An added bonus are the small white flowers that appear periodically throughout the year. It is one of the Rex begonias and so likes good moist, but free draining, compost and high humdity during the growing season with less watering in Winter. Grow in partial shade.
An RHS award winner, it makes a lovely addition to any houseplant, terrarium or vivarium collection.
