Lady's Mantle is an invaluable plant with two exceptionally useful characteristics - its yellowish green colour both in foliage and flowers works well with almost any other shade loving plants, and its practical quality of being dense enough to smooth weeds while not being so dense that strong plants cannot surge through. Classed as the 'good-looking workhorse of the garden' with pretty foliage and long flowering season and valued for the appearance of its leaves in wet weather.
