A vigorous, garlic-scented, bulbous perennial forming extensive colonies, with paired, elliptic leaves and erect stems bearing umbels of starry white flowers in late Spring. Also known as Ramsons, Wild Garlic leaves are extremely popular and have a range of culinary uses. Ideal ground cover, flowering during Spring and preferring dappled shade. All parts of the plant are edible.
Easy to grow in fertile well-drained soil. Add grit when grown in clay soils to improve drainage. Ideal for wildlife gardens and meadows, requiring no maintenance. Extremely hardy. Deciduous, dying back below ground from around mid-Summer.
Second picture give an example of bulb size - 20 will be received per order which will have had excess soil removed to reduce postage costs. They will be in various stages of leaf development depending upon time of year.
